Welcome to VSI’s Health and Wellness Education program, specifically designed to empower women and girls in Malindi, Kenya. Our mission is to provide essential health education and resources tailored to the unique needs of women and girls, fostering a culture of well-being and empowerment within the community. As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in delivering targeted health education, promoting reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, and mental well-being. Set against the backdrop of Malindi’s serene beaches and vibrant culture, this program offers a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of women and girls. Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Kenya, Malindi offers a captivating destination for our Health and Wellness Education program targeting women and girls. Known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality, Malindi provides an inspiring backdrop for our efforts to empower women and girls with essential health knowledge and resources. Volunteers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local community, engage with women and girls from diverse backgrounds, and make a meaningful impact on their health and well-being. FLIGHTS & ARRIVAL

A friendly face from our Base Team will be ready to meet you at the airport and drive you to our Volunteer Accommodation. Just look out for the Volunteer Safari Initiative sign!

SAFETY

Upon arrival, you'll receive a comprehensive induction to prepare you for project work, local culture, people, and wildlife. This orientation will also cover essential safety information.

STAFF

Our Volunteer Safari Initiative base teams provide 24/7 support, ensuring you have an incredible and unforgettable experience in Africa.

Once you fill out the application form below, a Destination Specialist will reach out to discuss your volunteer experience and answer any questions you might have. When you’re ready to proceed with your booking, we’ll provide you with a booking form. A deposit will be needed at that point to secure your spot.

FROM $650 Per week

The weekly cost will reduce if you stay for longer than 2 weeks, book with a friend or a family member.
