PROJECT DESTINATION
Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Kenya, Malindi offers a captivating destination for our Health and Wellness Education program targeting women and girls. Known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality, Malindi provides an inspiring backdrop for our efforts to empower women and girls with essential health knowledge and resources. Volunteers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local community, engage with women and girls from diverse backgrounds, and make a meaningful impact on their health and well-being. Join us in Malindi and be part of a transformative journey to promote health, empowerment, and resilience among women and girls in this beautiful coastal town.
Volunteers typically stay in comfortable shared rooms at our volunteer house. These accommodations are often located within close proximity to the project site, facilitating easy access to the school and community.
Three meals a day will be provided, featuring a mix of local Kenyan Cuisine and familiar international dishes. Special dietary needs will be catered for.
Kenya has a few different cellular network providers, for which sim cards can be purchased from most shops or at the airport. Various package options allow for phone calls and/or data usage. At the volunteer House, there is free WiFi to enable you to make contact back home.
Malindi has a tropical climate characterized by hot and humid conditions throughout the year. The city experiences two distinct seasons: a dry season from December to March and a wet season from April to November. Temperatures typically range from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F), with occasional spikes during the hotter months. Volunteers should pack lightweight and breathable clothing, as well as sun protection, to stay comfortable in the warm weather.

When you’re ready to proceed with your booking, we’ll provide you with a booking form. A deposit will be needed at that point to secure your spot.
