Youth and Women Empowerment
VSI is dedicated to addressing the need to economically empower women and youth, recognizing the critical importance of uplifting these key societal groups by sustainably enhancing their access to resources and skills. We believe that empowering a woman equates to empowering a nation, and empowering youth means empowering the next generation. When economically supported, these groups can significantly contribute to alleviating poverty, improving health, and reducing vulnerability within their families and communities.
Teaching & Child Care
If you share our passion for education, our volunteer teaching programs in Kenya provide an excellent opportunity to combine meaningful work with an adventurous travel experience. Over the years, Volunteer Safari Initiative has partnered with various foster care homes and public primary schools in Kenya, providing support through childcare volunteer work. Our teaching volunteers collaborate with local school teachers, assisting with entry-level classes for young children and special activities for adult learners. Beyond providing short-term benefits to these communities, your role as a teaching volunteer in Kenya will create real and measurable change, contributing to our mission of maintaining sustainable development.
Sports Coaching Volunteer Program
Kenya, known globally for its athletic prowess, offers a unique opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of sports stars. Our program is designed to harness the power of sports to foster teamwork, discipline, and personal growth among children and youth in underprivileged communities.
As a volunteer coach, you will work directly with local schools, community centers, and sports clubs, providing coaching and mentorship in a variety of sports such as soccer, athletics, basketball, and volleyball. Your role will be to not only improve their athletic skills but also to instill values of perseverance, fair play, and leadership.
